After two days in this sham trial, the corrupt Manhattan DA is trying to get President Trump fined for contempt of court, claiming that he violated an unconstitutional gag order. This gag order that even corrupt Michael Avenatti thinks is a travesty of justice. Alvin Bragg is calling on Judge Juan Merchan to not only impose a fine on Trump for every supposed violation but even threaten him with incarceration.
Piers Morgan is saying that if Trump wants to force the left to commit political suicide in all this, he should skip court to go to his son, Barron’s graduation. It would be utter political suicide for the Democrats to penalize him for that. Every single parent in the nation would say ‘That’s exactly what I would have done!’
Many think Trump should force this court’s hand. This weaponized legalism just keeps blowing back on the Democrats, and this Hush Money case is the flimsiest of them all in terms of the actual legal merits of the case. It’s a supposed sex scandal that many people don’t think Trump had anything to do with. No sex scandal since Clinton has successfully brought down a president. The American people, for right or for wrong, are just not interested. The lawfare-obsessed Democrats are overplaying their hand here, and the more they try to hold Trump in contempt, the higher his poll numbers are going to soar!
