Bill Maher crushed Kamala Harris. Maher is the latest liberal to come out and say the obvious despite all the media’s fabricated fanfare and astroturfing: Kamala Harris is a political disaster!
– Bill Maher and some Democrats were hoping for Gavin Newsom to run, rather than Kamala Harris, who was chosen for the ticket.
– Democrats and the legacy media have been anxious about Harris, who was selected for ticking identity politics boxes rather than popularity or accomplishments.
– There are reports suggesting that Biden chose Harris as a way to undermine the Democrats, possibly as revenge for a party coup that forced him out of the race.

Bill Maher made no secret that he was hoping for Gavin Newsom to step into the ring here. He is not happy that Kamala was selected rather than elected by him and his fellow Democrats. Maher is hardly alone in expressing his concerns. The Hill published a piece titled, ‘Behind the hoopla, Democrats anxious about Harris.’
The Democrats and the legacy media have always been anxious about Harris because she was put on the ticket NOT because she was popular, or because of any particular accomplishment that she would bring. She was put on the ticket because she ticked off the right identity politics boxes and was a DEI hire. Even Biden himself admitted it:

Biden said that DEI is the core of American values, and no one represents that core more than the vice president herself! So the Democrats have ALWAYS been anxious about Kamala precisely because her call to fame has nothing to do with being fame-worthy. She just ticked the right boxes! Democratic lawmakers are privately voicing their concerns about Kackles Kamala and her ability to defeat President Donald Trump in the 2024 election.
Many don’t believe she can win over blue-collar voters. Rich Baris of the People’s Pundit has been saying for even longer, based on the data that he was getting, the Democrats are hemorrhaging white and non-white working class voters to Trump. White and non-white working class voters are inordinately represented in swing state populations. There are more blue collar voters in states like Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania than there are at large in the national average.
Harris is actually doing worse than Biden with those voters. The British outlet Spiked recognized this almost right away when Kamala was first being selected to be the nominee. They noted that with Kamala at the helm, the Democrat Party officially became the party of California-style progressive wokeness, which the vast majority of working class voters find utterly repugnant.
With a total inability to connect with working class voters, Kamala is all but guaranteed to lose at least one blue wall state when she needs all three to win electorally. One of the talking points for Kamala originally was that she would do better in the sunbelt states like Arizona and Georgia. But Trump is actually doing better in Arizona with Kamala than he was doing with Biden.
Trump has gained in Arizona ever since Kamala came to the fore last week. He has a near seven-point lead. In Georgia there has been no movement at all, Trump is up 5 still. This is why there are reports that Biden and his people deliberately chose Kamala so that the Democrats would implode in November as a way of getting his revenge on party operatives that launched a successful coup against him.
I’m sure you’ve all heard by now that reports are out that Biden was basically blackmailed into giving up his reelection bid. Obama gave the green light to threaten Biden with invoking the 25th Amendment if he didn’t drop out. So it seems Biden was forced out and this was a coup. A duly elected candidate for the presidency who had millions of democrat votes and the delegates to easily win that candidacy was FORCED by unelected operatives to give it all up.
The Democrats appear to be ceding that loss while at the same time they think they’ve been able to minimize their losses down ballot. Here’s Molly Hemingway of the Federalist:
As much as the media may be actively trying to convince their dwindling audience otherwise, Kamala is widely recognized to be a political disaster, even by liberals like Bill Maher!
