Well, another liberal icon falls; the far left activist Alec Baldwin, has officially been charged in the shooting death of a cinematographer; we’re going to look at the announcement, we’re going to see what’s behind the charges, and make sure to stick with me to the end when I’ll reveal precisely why the woke left has lost one of their most ardent and devoted members…
On October 21st, 2021, Alec Baldwin mistakenly and tragically shot and killed cinematographer Halayna Hutchins when a prop gun accidentally discharged on the set of his latest movie. The shooting happened on the grounds of Bonanza Creek Ranch, which is a popular production location just south of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Apparently Baldwin was practicing a cross-draw weapons firing technique and was aiming at a camera when the prop gun went off, accidentally discharging a bullet that struck Hutchins who stood behind the camera. Now, while Baldwin did everything he could to pass the buck on this, blaming the assistant director and props manager for negligence, legal scholars believed that Baldwin was ultimately going to be the one charged in the shooting death. And this is principally because he was not merely an actor on the set, he was also the movie’s producer, and he apparently received a number of complaints from the filming crew about on-set gun safety issues and misfires just days before the fatal shooting.
Well, now, as of just a few minutes ago, those predictions were indeed confirmed; Alec Baldwin has been officially charged with involuntary manslaughter in the shooting death of Halayna Hutchins. The armorer on the film set, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed is being charged as well. A third person, assistant director Dave Halls signed a plea agreement for a charge of negligent use of a deadly weapon. According to Fox News, the terms of his agreement included a suspended sentence and six months of probation. The District Attorney for New Mexico said: ‘After a thorough review of the evidence and the laws of the state of New Mexico, I have determined that there is sufficient evidence to file criminal charges against Alec Baldwin and other members of the ‘Rust’ film crew. “If any one of these three people – Alec Baldwin, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed or David Halls – had done their job, Halyna Hutchins would be alive today. It’s that simple.’ Now, again, this is tragic beyond words, in every way, but alas, what we really are seeing here is the latest of a number of liberal leftist icons to fall!
We’ve done videos on the colossal fall of Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Chris Cuomo and Don Lemon over at CNN, Rachel Maddow at MSNBC, Chris Wallace of Fox News, of course Joe Biden, he’s collapsing as we speak! These are people who once exercised enormous power and influence who have since waned, and waned considerably. And now we’re seeing the waning of yet another liberal icon, Alec Baldwin. Wait until you see some of the things this guy did; it’s going to make your blood boil!
Alec Baldwin was, as you may know, a thoroughly reliable leftwing activist; he could always be trusted to bash President Trump and the Republicans and the values that we hold dear. He of course made a career of mocking and lampooning president Trump, and in a way that wasn’t even very good! I remember Norm MacDonald, the amazing comedian who left us way too soon, once quipped that he despised Alec Baldwin’s impersonations of Trump. It was so interesting, because he said that if you want an impersonation to work, you have to like the person you’re impersonating, otherwise it comes across as a vile form of mockery, and MacDonald never found that funny! But that kind of vicious leftism actually came with a brutal, and I mean brutal irony! Back in 2017, Baldwin tweeted out an extremely distasteful post in response to a police officer who shot an unarmed man, saying, and I kid you not, ‘I wonder how it must feel to wrongfully kill someone.’ Yikes!
So, needless to say, those words have come back to haunt Baldwin big time! Moreover, he’s been a rabid anti-second amendment activist over the years, though I’m sure he has armed bodyguards, but hey, rules for thee not for me! Back in 2018, he ripped NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch tweeting: “I see that @DLoesch wants to “take back the truth.” And she doesn’t care how many dead bodies she has to step over in that pursuit. The Second Amendment is not a moral credit card that buys you all the guns you want. That law needs to be rethought.” I’m not sure what law he’s talking about there; the Second Amendment isn’t a law, it’s a God-given right upon which laws are made and by which their legitimacy is determined; and unfortunately, he’s about to find out what all of that means the hard way. Alec Baldwin has indeed fallen, with the liberal left suffering the loss of one of their most devoted and vocal members.
