Kamala’s Katrina: Disaster Response Failures Cause Legacy Media Meltdown

The legacy media is going through a full-blown panic. Kamala is experiencing her own Katrina, all at the same time that dock workers across ports on the east coast and gulf regions have gone on strike. We are going to look at this perfect storm of disasters to beset Kamala and how it’s causing the legacy media to lose it on live television.

– Scott Jennings stated on CNN that the past week has been an “optical disaster” for the Harris-Biden administration, comparing it to Kamala’s “Katrina.”

– The Biden-Harris administration has faced repeated criticism for its disaster response failures, including mishandling the Maui fires, the East Palestine, Ohio crisis, and Hurricane Helene relief efforts.

– The legacy media is reportedly concerned about the political impact of these events, seeing a potential disaster for the Biden-Harris administration.

Scott Jennings was speaking truth on CNN, and the truth is that this past week has been an optical disaster for the Harris-Biden administration. This is Kamala’s Katrina. Her response has been an abject disaster, as has Biden’s, PJ Media’s Stephen Kreuser had a great piece talking about the political ramifications of this disaster. He noted that this Helene disaster is driving a steak through the heart of Kamala’s claim that she wants to be president for all Americans.

It may not be political malice that’s driving this seeming indifference. It took Biden two weeks before he came out to visit the victims of the Maui fires in deep blue Hawaii, the worst fires in our nation’s history. As the fires ravaged Maui, here’s what Joe Biden was doing:

Biden was riding his bike while, once again, on vacation with his helmet on, looking like a child. Days went by and yet Biden, who was on vacation throughout this horror, said nothing. He had no comment on the deadliest fires in our nation’s history. It took him nearly two weeks to show up to the devastation. When he did eventually come, this is how he was greeted:

This heartless indifference we are seeing to so much suffering is not necessarily partisan. It appears that it is radical incompetence. One reporter discussed this, saying, ‘The Biden-Harris administration has yet again shown its complete inability to effectively manage disaster responses. From its appalling handling of the tragedy in Lahaina, Maui, to its blatant indifference toward the people of East Palestine, Ohio—and now the failure to properly aid the victims of Hurricane Helene, especially in Asheville, N.C.—the pattern is clear. Time and time again, we’ve witnessed an administration incapable of stepping up when it’s needed most.’

By contrast, Trump has been crushing it just like he did during the crisis in East Palestine Ohio. Trump announced that he was working directly with Elon Musk to get Starlink set up in areas ravaged by the flooding. Trump noted that with all the devastation, hyperconnectivity and communication has been completely disrupted.

Elon Musk himself confirmed that SpaceX has sent as many Starlink terminals as possible to help the areas in need. He noted that Trump himself had told him that there were additional people in North Carolina whose communications have completely broken down, and he was sending them terminals immediately. Trump and Musk are absolutely crushing it here. They are not alone. The embattled Republican gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson is rising to the occasion as well:

The legacy media is seeing this political disaster in the making, and they are starting to freak out.

This guy melted down on air because President Trump had the gall to violate woke politically correct norms while at the same time he doesn’t care about the concerns of the people of Springfield, a town of 60,000 that has been overrun by 20,000 Haitian migrants. We are seeing political correctness and identity politics completely marginalize and disenfranchise rural America!

More than 45,000 dock workers, members of the International Longshoremen’s Association from ports all across the east coast and the gulf region are officially on strike. This has threatened a massive disruption in supply chains across the nation. The strike brought billions of dollars in trade to a screeching halt. This goes way beyond just supply chain shortages, this could lead to even further escalating inflation. Things just keep getting worse and worse for the Kamala regime just five weeks away from the big day!
