The latest poll coming out of Notre Dame University shows Trump is leading Harris 48 to 46. The reason this is so suggestive of the current state of the race is that the same poll taken in 2020 showed Trump getting blown away by Biden who led Trump 66 to 29. This is a monumental shift, and it’s indicative of the pattern we are seeing in all the polls. Every single poll shows that voters trust Trump far more with the economy, jobs, and inflation than Harris. She simply hasn’t made the case for how she would be substantially different from the administration that’s experiencing such low approval ratings.

Joe Biden confirmed that he delegated every one of his policies to her, so she’s responsible for every single one. As borderline illiterates like Stephanie Ruhle at MSNBC are making the absurd claim that Kamala doesn’t have to distance herself from Biden because Trump is so bad, Biden himself is out there associating her explicitly with his radically unpopular policies.
Their rhetorical stigmatization isn’t working, just like their lawfare didn’t work. The more they indicted and prosecuted Trump, the more his polls went up. It seems we are seeing something similar now as the more they stigmatize him the stronger he gets.
