Moms for Liberty is a grassroots organization that has been instrumental in voting out woke school board members, so naturally, the Southern Poverty Law Center, which has turned racial grievance politics into a multi-million dollar business model, has labeled them a hate group. The Philadelphia Marriott was under enormous pressure by supposedly “inclusive” woke activists to cancel the Moms for Liberty conference, but they stood by the unalienable right of free speech and free assembly, and they refused to bend to the cancel culture demands of woke activists.
Many activists gathered outside the event to display their disgust with these moms whose only objective is to protect their kids from the debilitating effects of woke indoctrination precisely like we heard from these protestors. Unfortunately for those woke activists, the tide is turning against them. Polls now are overwhelmingly showing a dramatic decline in support for LGBT issues not just here in the States but throughout the Western world. This is a huge shift in public sentiment. According to a study conducted by the research firm Ipsos in over 30 mostly Western countries, support for the LGBT community, particularly trans activism, has declined across the board. While most people in the surveyed countries still support same-sex marriage, that support has noticeably not increased; it’s either remained stable or decreased over the past two years. Similar patterns were observed regarding support for gay couples raising children.
Several countries, such as Poland, Turkey, Romania, and South Korea exemplified a significant majority who are steadfastly against the practice. In countries such as the United States, the Netherlands, and Sweden, support for gay couples raising children has been declining over the past two years. When it comes to transgenderism and trans activism, the majority of respondents, particularly in Great Britain and the USA, wanted trans people to be limited to using toilets, changing rooms, and saunas that corresponded to their biological gender. According to the data published in another report, the Public Religion Research Institute found that the percentage of the population that believes there are only 2 genders has increased over the last two years.
It’s not just white evangelicals or Republicans that are more inclined to say there are only 2 genders. Gen Zers, millennials, blacks, and Latinos are increasingly believing there are 2 genders. In 2021, 86% of white evangelicals believed there were only 2 genders. Today, that number has increased to 92%. That may not be much of a surprise, but what the study found was that the same kind of increase is evident among the religiously unaffiliated. According to this study, those who claim to be religiously unaffiliated have gone from 38% affirming only 2 genders in 2021 to now upwards of 46% today.
The most dramatic shift in sentiment here is evidenced among Gen Zers! They are openly revolting against all of this pride indoctrination. The percentage of Gen Zers who believe there are only 2 genders has increased from 43% in 2021 to now an astonishing 57% today. This is corroborated by another recent survey that found that the number of Americans between the ages of 18 and 34 who are comfortable interacting with those who identify as LGBT slipped from 53% in 2017 to 45% in 2018. This is down from an astonishing 63% in 2016. Women in particular have changed most drastically in terms of their attitudes towards gays and lesbians. Their comfort levels have plunged from 64% in 2017 to 52% in 2018. So unfortunately for these woke activists gathered to protest the Moms for Liberty event, it’s the Moms for Liberty that appear to be the future, not woke activists. The tide is turning in favor of liberty and against the cultural Marxist dictates of the intolerant woke.
