Antifa is finally being dismantled in Portland—literally! After nearly 150 days of occupying and camping out on the street outside the ICE facility, Antifa has officially been cleared out as the police finally stepped in and tore down their encampment. And guess why Portland Police have finally responded? Because MAGA is here; Trump has been given the green light to send in the National Guard, and there’s a whole host of MAGA patriots already there in Portland waiting to greet them as liberators! You’re going to absolutely love this!

As many know, the Ninth Circuit Court—traditionally considered the most liberal court in America and often referred to as the Ninth Circus—shocked their judicial colleagues by siding with the Trump administration twice in overturning a rogue activist judge’s restraining order preventing Trump from sending in the National Guard to Portland. While some nuances remain to be worked out, most legal analysts recognize it's just a matter of time.
This expectation is based on a near 200-year-old ruling called Martin vs. Mott. Back in 1827, the Supreme Court ruled that when the President calls out the militia—what we now call the National Guard—that decision is "conclusive upon all other persons." In other words, the president, as the commander in chief of our nation’s armed forces, alone has jurisdiction over how those forces are or are not used! This jurisdiction is absolute, with no exceptions, judicial review, or state veto power. The Court was clear: the President's authority to decide whether an emergency exists "belongs exclusively to the president."
The Supreme Court has already signaled that when they rule on this restraining order, at least the conservative majority is expected to side squarely with Trump’s executive authority to deploy the National Guard as he sees fit. No judge in the nation has the authority to circumvent that! Recently, an appellate court ruled in line with this, addressing the case surrounding Border Patrol Chief Gregory Bovino, who has been harassed by an ultra-woke judge. This judge ordered Bovino to appear at her courthouse daily at 6 pm so she could scrutinize his and his agents' actions! This concept of a nanny state was taken to a new absurd level. Thankfully, an appellate court has shut that absurdity down, stating she has no jurisdiction over Chief Bovino, freeing him from such harassment.
So while judicial activism is annoying at best and maddening at worst, the good news is that it’s getting shut down left and right. When the National Guard eventually arrives in Portland, they’ll have a field day raiding Antifa makeshift headquarters. Inside, there are reportedly loads full of medicine, medical gear, gas masks, food supplies, a fridge, you name it; everything these protestors need to continue their campaign of harassment against law enforcement officials. But even before the National Guard shows up, a group of MAGA patriots is shutting this Antifa nest down.
Portland Police have had enough, and they’ve begun dismantling and confiscating all the Antifa camp supplies, including tents and sleeping bags. As seen with the devastation of Hurricane Melissa, you never know when you’re going to be in a life-or-death situation. Things get worse as we age, as we hold less body heat, and imagine being stranded in a broken-down car at night, having to walk for help. A rainstorm, even in summer, could easily mean hypothermia.
As seen, a combination of MAGA patriots and responsible Portland Police officers are starting to restore some semblance of law and order. This is largely happening so that the governor of Oregon can try to convince President Trump not to send in the National Guard. This is what makes these activist rogue judges so nefarious; the threat of sending in the National Guard often prompts leftist mayors and governors to restore order on their streets. When an activist judge interferes with this political leverage, it provides cover for ultra-left governors and mayors to continue neglecting their law-enforcement responsibilities. Fortunately, the courts are remedying this kind of judicial activism.
Currently, the Supreme Court is deciding whether the Trump administration has the authority to send National Guard troops into Chicago. On October 9th, an activist judge (a Biden appointee) issued a temporary restraining order blocking the deployment, ruling Trump hadn't shown enough evidence that it was necessary. You can’t make this stuff up! Judges appointing themselves as the de facto commander in chief is not for them to decide; it’s for the American people, who vote on their commander in chief.
This has gone straight to the Supreme Court, and they’re expected to rule in the coming weeks. Many hope this will be the final, definitive ruling on presidential authority over our armed forces. According to a 200-year precedent and clear constitutional backing, it is the president who commands our armed forces, and no judge has the authority to override that authorization.
