By allowing this, the government has systematically weakened our defense. A change of president is a step in the right direction, but the rot runs deep and must be rooted out.
This is exemplified by the new administration picks by the Trump team as he prepares for the transition in January. But how deep is this rot? How bad is it, and can leaders simply change this from a top down perspective?
