RFK Jr. Recent Statements are Good News For Trump!

Donald Trump just got some amazing news and it is shaking up the campaign like never before. We are going to see the latest development that has the Democrats terrified and MAGA forces celebrating.

– Recent polls show Trump outperforming Biden among independents with leads ranging from 2 to 15 points.

– RFK’s support for racial reparations is a liability, as this topic alienates many voters, particularly independents and populists.

– RFK’s left-leaning tendencies could temper any potential negative impact he has on the election, favoring Trump.

One of the main arguments that the DeSantis camp and other anti-Trumpers have been making is that Trump can not win the general election because he can’t win independents. According to the argument, while Trump remains huge among Republicans, all the polls show that independents have soured on him, and no one can win a general election relying simply on Republican votes.

As recently as August, the ultra-anti-Trumper Andrew McCarthy was making this argument. Trump cannot win independents, and therefore Trump cannot win the general election. As you know, we have been seeing a polling surge for Trump over the last several weeks and now we have specific polling among independents that decimates this argument. According to the latest Center4Politics poll, Trump beats Biden among independents by 2 points, 51 to 49. According to the latest NPR/Marist poll, Trump beats Biden by 6 points, 49 to 43 among independents. The latest Fox News poll shows Trump trouncing Biden by 8 points among independents.

According to the latest ABC/Washington Post poll, Trump is beating Biden by 13 points among independents, 52 to 39. The latest CBS poll has Trump beating Biden by 15 points, 57 to 42. Only Quinnipiac has Biden beating Trump 46 to 41. On average Trump now has a commanding 7-point lead among independents. Here is one of a million reasons why Biden is imploding.

That takes incoherence to a whole new level. It is no wonder that the latest Center4Politics poll has Trump up four overall, 52 to 48. CNBC is showing the same lead. The latest Echelon poll also has Trump up by 4, 41 to 37. In the swing states, Trump opens up a 5-point lead. This is what the British Telegraph found as well. They conducted their poll and found Trump with a solid lead in 4 of 6 battleground states, tied in Michigan, and down one in Pennsylvania.

Many people are now wondering how RFK Jr. will impact these polls. We are getting polls now showing that if RFK is in the race, it will cost Trump the election. The biggest weakness for RFK is his unfortunate yet incessant leftism. He just came out in full support of racial reparations. Kennedy openly advocated for federal dollars to ‘rebuild black infrastructure’ like banks and businesses, as well as direct redress payments or tax credits rather than no-strings cash giveaways.

Reparations talk does two things. He siphons black votes from the Democrats and hemorrhages votes among patriots, populists, and independents. The black vote is self-explanatory, in that offering free cash is incentive enough. When it comes to independent and populist voters, reparations are political poison. Polls have been thoroughly consistent on this issue. Barely 20% of the American population supports the whole notion of slavery reparations. 70% are opposed. The polls are very consistent on this.

Reparations rhetoric only ends up provoking a massive backlash among white voters. We have the data on this. Carol Swain of Vanderbilt University found that reparations rhetoric and identity politics were awakening what she called a kind of ‘new white nationalism.’ She noticed that whites were becoming very concerned over the asymmetrical distribution and enforcement of civil rights-based equalities where they felt like they were being discriminated against. If blacks get to vote for their political interests, Latinos get to vote for their political interests, and Asians get to vote for their political interests, then why couldn’t whites vote on behalf of their political interests?

What she was calling the new white nationalism was not motivated by overt racism. All indicators show that racism is at an all-time low today. it’s not overt racism that’s motivating the new white nationalism, as she calls it, but rather it’s being provoked by what more whites perceive as deliberate discrimination against them simply because they are white.

Nothing on this planet provokes more of a sense that one is being discriminated against simply because one is white than the notion of racial reparations. The irony in all of this is that RFK’s embracing of reparations is going to further alienate the voters he would have siphoned away from Trump. All of this is to say that RFK’s propensity towards leftism should temper any negative effect he has right now on the election, which is certainly good news for one Donald J. Trump!
