This is amazing stuff, and it’s an excellent template for precisely how more local communities can effectively fight back against the ridiculousness of identity politics nonsense!

The California city of Huntington Beach is gaining attention, not just within the state but across the country, for its bold move to crush cultural Marxist identity politics in its backyard. It’s being widely reported that the municipality’s government has eliminated pride month, black history month, and women’s history months among several bans against all forms of leftwing identity politics.
In its place, the city council has adopted a new 12-month celebratory history schedule that is free of all identity politics and celebrates and reveres our nation’s customs, cultures, and traditions. Here’s a sampling of what the new calendar looks like: January will now be called ‘Founders’ Legacy’ month, dedicated to Celebrating Huntington Beach’s Origins. February will now commemorate the ‘The Revolutionary and Civil War.’ March will be California history month, April will commemorate the founding of Huntington Beach’s Railroad, and May will be ‘The Bill of Rights’ month, dedicated to Learning and highlighting the first 10 Amendments to the Constitution. June will commemorate the History of Independence Day and What It Means Today.
This new calendar banning woke things comes on the heels of what just happened in Oklahoma where the governor there just signed a sweeping ban on DEI throughout the state’s colleges and universities. That ban came on the heels of the state of Tennessee officially suing BlackRock in a first-of-its-kind ESG lawsuit now if you don’t know. ESG stands for environmental and social governance policies, which are functioning like a new kind of social credit system.
And so now, for the first time, in what may prove to be a precedent-setting case, a global asset manager, BlackRock, is being sued by a state attorney general for leveraging investors’ money to pursue partisan political goals without their investors’ consent. All of this is part of the ongoing fallout from the Supreme Court’s recent decision to overturn affirmative action and rule it unconstitutional in hiring practices and college admissions standards precisely because it involved reverse discrimination.
This is part of a larger trend that we are seeing throughout the nation of a massive and growing pushback against all things woke. It is being widely reported that woke DEI workers are being fired everywhere. DEI workers first came to the forefront in the wake of the George Floyd riots, that is when corporate America went woke and started implementing what’s called DEI programs, which stands for diversity, equity, and inclusion. It is being widely reported that DEI positions are getting slashed everywhere.
Bud Light just reported its worst sales year in 20 years. They have lost billions of dollars in market cap because their marketing geniuses thought it would benefit the brand to go woke. They imposed their warped ideology on the rest of us using corporate America as their propaganda platform. We may end up looking back some years from now and see the Bud Light Dylan Mulvaney moment as being the fixed historical point when the woke mind virus finally started to recede.
Everyone is recognizing that wokeness killed Bud Light. The massive backlash against wokeness ended Bud Light. The lesson learned here is of the age-old adage: Get woke, go broke. It is happening to Hollywood, Disney, Netflix, Hulu, and Ivy League universities which are losing billions in donations and endowments. The public school system is losing record numbers of students to the surge in homeschooling. Getting woke means going broke, and now more populations and industries are distancing themselves from anything that has a hint of wokeness. Huntington Beach in California is now showing that this is going to include the calendar as well.
