The Christmas Gathering That Shook London

Imagine a world where singing "Silent Night" in the public square is condemned as an act of hate. Where celebrating Christ's birth is viewed as a provocation. A world where Christmas celebrations are decried by mayors as far-right extremism. Well, you don’t have to imagine it; it just unfolded in London. The events that followed will absolutely blow your mind!

- Tommy Robinson announced a Christmas gathering in Whitehall, London, to revive the UK's Christian heritage.
- London Mayor Sadiq Khan denounced the event, branding it as a far-right gathering.
- Despite efforts to cancel it, the event drew thousands, underscoring a resurgence of civilizational populism.

Just days ago, the indefatigable English political activist Tommy Robinson announced a special Christmas gathering in Whitehall for British patriots everywhere. This event wasn't about politics or division; it was about placing Christ back into Christmas. Invitations for this beautiful celebration of hymns, prayers, and family continued to pour in.

Yet, London’s Muslim Mayor, Sadiq Khan, saw it differently. Days before the event, Khan warned the public about this Christmas celebration, equating it with the far-right and extreme groupss like the English Defense League. In Khan's eyes, the public singing of Christmas carols was a menacing act.

Ironically, Khan attended his own Christmas tree lighting ceremony, where he appeared incredulous at the lyrics he was singing: "Glory to the newborn King". This is classic leftist strategy — attack the character, not the ideas. Unable to ban Christmas outright, they redefined it as far-right.

Even more shockingly, the Church of England's hierarchy sided with their Muslim Mayor. Liberal bishops expressed grave concern that the event might "exploit the Christian faith for far-right causes." The state church, co-opted by left-wing liberals, worried about people celebrating the very faith it should uphold.

Unfazed, Tommy Robinson and the event organizers pressed on. Despite attempts by the Mayor and media to cancel the gathering, faithful pastors and priests across the UK invited everyone to celebrate Christmas and Britain's glorious Christian heritage. When December 13th arrived, thousands of British patriots gathered in central London, doing what Christians have done for centuries — celebrating the birth of the King of Kings.

Men, women, veterans, and children sang carols and prayed for their nation, without a hint of the "problems" Khan predicted. The only thing that frightened the establishment was a native population celebrating their faith and history in their own capital. A young girl even mesmerized everyone with her performance.

This wasn't just a one-off event. The glory of what Tommy Robinson and the organizers pulled off in London promises to resonate across Europe. The rise of civilizational populism, as articulated by Sam Huntington, is taking hold. It posits that our civilization is under threat from foreign invaders, aided by a corrupt globalist elite. Open borders and mass immigration are tools to maximize corporate profits and political power. But when the people demand sovereignty, they are labeled far-right xenophobes by the likes of London's ineffectual mayor.

These slanderous labels only fuel the rise of civilizational populism, particularly its religious dimension. Throughout the West, particularly in Europe, Christianity is returning to the public square. Even in secular bastions like Sweden and the Netherlands, Christianity is reemerging as the cornerstone of European culture and politics. Leaders like Geert Wilders, Marine Le Pen, and Viktor Orban are calling for Christianity's resurgence to counteract the Islamification of their cultures. Marine Le Pen has even argued that French secularism, or Laïcité, is dependent on Christianity. Without it, France risks losing its identity to a religion with no church-state distinction.

What we witnessed in London is only the beginning. Sadiq Khan tried to cancel Christmas by labeling it hate speech. He failed. The people showed up, sang, and exposed the lie. This wasn't just a rally; it was a revelation, demonstrating that the establishment is terrified of a people grounded in faith and tradition. So, Merry Christmas, London! And Merry Christmas to all of you. If singing a carol is an act of rebellion, then let the rebellion begin.
