National Rally Rising: Macron's Nightmare Unfolds

Emmanuel Macron, the globalist president of France who once lectured the world on democracy, now finds himself unable to keep his own government intact for even nine months. France is witnessing the spectacular fall of its feckless leader, and the events unfolding suggest the beginning of the end for European globalism as we know it. As the nation quietly implodes, with even hospitals preparing for an inevitable civil war, it is clear that Macron's demise has been in the works for some time.

- France's government has collapsed with Prime Minister François Bayrou's ousting.
- Macron's political maneuvering has backfired, leading to a dysfunctional parliament.
- National Rally's popularity is surging, signaling a potential shift in French politics.

France's government has officially collapsed. On September 8th, Prime Minister François Bayrou became the second French prime minister to be ousted in less than a year. The confidence vote was a massacre, losing 364 to 194. Ironically, Bayrou himself called for this vote. He believed he could pressure parliament into supporting his austerity budget, which included 44 billion euros in spending cuts, the elimination of two public holidays, and a freeze on government spending. France, like much of Europe, is in a debt crisis, and Macron has been unable to control it. Bayrou's strategy was to present parliament with a stark choice between fiscal responsibility and governmental collapse. Yet, in a dramatic twist, the entire parliament united against him.

Both the far-left and the National Rally, France's answer to the MAGA movement, came together to oust another Macron puppet. The vote left France without a functioning government. Macron now faces the daunting task of finding a fifth prime minister in two years, a challenge given the current partisan makeup of the French Parliament—a composition that Macron himself is responsible for. During last summer's national elections, the National Rally was poised for victory, but Macron orchestrated a political maneuver that saw 200 of his assemblymen from his party back out and endorse candidates from the far-left New Popular Front. This combined force prevented National Rally from winning outright, resulting in a hung parliament. Now, both the National Rally and the New Popular Front despise Macron, leaving him with a parliament that cannot pass legislation and is dissatisfied with any prime minister he nominates.

The irony is palpable. Macron's alliance with the far-left has backfired, and he is now reaping the consequences of his own political machinations. There are calls for him to dissolve parliament and hold new elections. If the latest polls are any indication, National Rally's popularity has soared. Marine Le Pen's party commands a staggering 32% support, nearly double that of Macron's centrist Ensemble party, which has plummeted to 14%. The far-left has dropped to 23%. In this multi-party system, one in three French voters supports the National Rally.

A comprehensive 538 analysis shows National Rally achieving 35% support with a six-point gain, while the left-wing coalition has crashed by seven points to just 21%, and Macron's party has dropped three points to 18%. Analysts warn that only a desperate left-right coalition could prevent National Rally from taking power, but such coalitions have historically led to parliamentary implosions.

Personal popularity numbers reveal a stark contrast. Both Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella, the party's prospective 2027 presidential candidate, enjoy 36% favorable ratings, far exceeding Macron's low-teens approval rating. Macron's approval has cratered to 15%, a six-point drop since July. When nearly nine out of ten citizens have lost faith in you, it's not a rough patch—it's a political death spiral.

The calls for Macron's resignation grow by the hour, but the polarization in France is so pronounced there seems to be no political solution. The globalists on both the center-left and center-right, a growing far-left, and the France First National Rally are deeply divided. Reports suggest regional health authorities are instructing hospitals to prepare for a "major military engagement" by March 2026. While some speculate this might involve France in Ukraine, others fear it could be a full-fledged civil war on the streets of Paris.

France's government has indeed collapsed, and Macron is on the brink. The next steps may determine the fate of Europe for the next generation.
