But let’s face it, the Washington Post is hemorrhaging readers and might even shutter their sports division. Even Jeff Bezos admits nobody trusts the legacy media anymore.
The narrative claims that Americans are outraged, just like with the killing of Renee Good. According to the press, no one voted for this, and Trump must let Minneapolis descend into chaos. Senate Democrats threaten a shutdown over ICE’s actions, with residents demanding agents leave their city. Yet, this story falls apart when confronted with new polling data showing overwhelming support for Trump’s deportation efforts.
A new poll from Plymouth Union Public Research reveals 74% of Americans believe fighting illegal immigration is important, with 44% considering it very important. Only 7% think it’s not important, comprising those rioting in Minneapolis. Moreover, a YouGov poll shows ICE agents have a 45% favorable rating, despite negative media coverage. A plus-3 approval rating for such a controversial agency is impressive, with 57% of Americans insisting ICE should operate without harassment.
Even more telling, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth pointed out in a viral meme: "How To Avoid ICE"—don’t be here illegally, don’t attack officers, and obey laws. This straightforward advice triggered leftists because it underscores the rarity of being harmed by ICE agents. DHS Secretary Kristi Noem labeled Pretti's actions as "domestic terrorism," emphasizing that violence against the government for ideological reasons fits that definition.
President Trump is not backing down. Instead, he's sending Border Czar Tom Homan to Minneapolis to oversee ICE operations and investigate massive welfare fraud linked to the protests. Homan’s mission also includes tackling the alleged $20 billion fraud in Minnesota, which Trump claims fuels these protests. Meanwhile, Trump is calling for an investigation into Rep. Ilhan Omar’s finances, questioning her rapid accumulation of wealth.
The American people want deportations, border security, and corrupt politicians held accountable. Even the far-left is starting to notice the inevitable splintering of their movement.
