But despite these events, the public's response is crystal clear. If Democrats thought they could ride this issue to victory, well, they're in for a rude awakening.

In the wake of the Minneapolis operation, voters approve of the Trump administration's deportation policy by a staggering 10-point margin—52% to 42%! In electoral terms, that's called a landslide. But hold on, because Mark Mitchell at Rasmussen has even more jaw-dropping numbers. Known for his accuracy in 2024, Mitchell shows a 62% approval among likely voters for Trump's program targeting illegal immigrants. Even more, 55% of Americans want penalties for companies that hire illegal immigrants. As for the notion that Trump's immigration stance would erode his support among Latino voters, think again.
