Joy Reid and Biden Make Absurd Affirmative Action Arguments

The ultra-left MSNBC’s Joy Reid is the very definition of self-unawareness. She admitted that the only reason why she got into Harvard was because of affirmative action.

– Joe Biden also tried to defend affirmative action, but he made several mistakes in his argument.

– The woke left is arguing that the only way to protect people from discrimination is to employ it, which is a self-negating argument.

In her words, “I got into Harvard only because of affirmative action.” She admitted on live television that affirmative action was the only reason she attended Harvard. That was bad enough for Reid to get mercilessly mocked on Twitter. The Daily Caller responded: ‘To the surprise of no one.’ Scott Adams wrote: ‘Joy Reid accidentally has the best argument AGAINST affirmative action!’ Spitfire said: ‘Joy Reid is exactly why affirmative action needed to be abolished.’ Twitchy Team wrote: ‘Joy Ann Reid confirms the least surprising revelation ever.’

So not only did Joy Reid dig her own grave with that comment that affirmative action was the only reason why she got into Harvard, the least surprising revelation ever, she went on to reprimand and rebuke her fellow Harvard students for pointing out the truth. She was upset that the White students there called her out for precisely what she admitted, for getting accepted only because of affirmative action. She admits that affirmative action was the only reason why she was admitted to Harvard, and then she freaks out at the students who happened to point that out. Joy Reid is such a parody, but she is not the only one confused about all this. Joe Biden tried desperately to coherently explain why the Supreme Court was wrong to abolish affirmative action.

What a bumbling incoherent clown! According to Biden, the constitution says: ‘We hold these truths to be self-evident.’ However, that is the Declaration of Independence. He is clearly cognitively challenged as he continues struggling to speak. However, the Supreme Court’s decision to abolish affirmative action protected and defended the guarantee that all are created equal. That is the whole point of the decision. The decision overturns reverse discrimination. Jonathan Turley, professor of law at George Washington University pointed out that the justices enforced what they saw as the ‘self-evident’ guarantee referenced in the Declaration and later protected in the Fourteenth Amendment.

The Court reaffirmed unequivocally that all men and women are created equal and will be treated equally in both education and employment. Biden and Reid weren’t alone in spouting out their utter rank absurdities. Whoopi Goldberg, the borderline illiterate, opened her mouth and said that getting rid of affirmative action means that we are heading to no women in colleges soon.

The whole point of the Supreme Court ruling was an outright rejection of discrimination in college admissions. The point was to reject discrimination. This ruling rejected discrimination, but liberals believe it upholds and enforces it. They believe that racial discrimination can only be done away with by employing it. That is essentially what Biden, Reid, and Goldberg are all doing their best to argue. The only way we can protect people from racial discrimination is by continuing to racially discriminate. The court made it clear, there’s no way around the fact that affirmative action is reverse discrimination. It entails the refusal to accept or hire a person based on their race or ethnicity.

If someone is going to be accepted and hired based on their race, that necessitates the rejection of someone who is not that race, such that other people are rejected because they are the ‘wrong’ race. The court made it clear, there’s no way around this. Affirmative action is reverse discrimination. These woke people are actually making the self-negating argument that the only way to protect people from discrimination is to employ it. It’s beyond absurd, but of course, these are the very people who argue that the only way to protect democracy is to overturn it; so, we shouldn’t be surprised. So, once again, people have had it with the woke left, which means that they are just beginning to implode!
