Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is surging. His intellectually rich speeches and unwavering commitment to standing up for President Trump against the weaponized legalism of the corrupt Biden Justice Department are winning him more fans, and he’s now even beginning to surge past Ron DeSantis.
– Recent polls, including Kaplan Strategies and Ohio Northern University, show Ramaswamy’s rising support, with DeSantis trailing behind.
– Ramaswamy’s surge in popularity contrasts with a declining campaign for DeSantis and other candidates, who are banking on Trump’s potential legal challenges to secure their nomination.
– Ramaswamy’s alignment with Trump and his efforts against corporate wokeness contribute to his success in the current political landscape.
While there is no way anyone can even hope to realistically steal the GOP nomination from Donald J. Trump, Vivek Ramaswamy is indeed separating himself from the pack. A couple of weeks ago, a Kaplan Strategies survey recognized a surge toward Ramaswamy. It was the first poll that found DeSantis and Ramaswamy tied at 12 points each among Republicans. Now we have an Ohio Northern University poll that shows President Trump dominating the Republican primary race with 64% support, far ahead of all his competitors. The poll showed Ramaswamy moving to second place with 12% support, with DeSantis dropping to third with 9% support. As if that weren’t bad enough, now we have Ramaswamy surpassing DeSantis on Predict It. DeSantis is being overtaken in the betting markets.
Ramaswamy is going up, and DeSantis is going perpetually down. The DeSantis campaign is basically in a freefall. It’s not just DeSantis; every other candidate, except Vivek Ramaswamy, is committing political suicide because they’re all banking on these indictments to take Trump out of the field. That’s what unites both Mike Pence and Ron DeSantis. Rich Baris of the People’s Pundit has been talking about this; all the other candidates except for Ramaswamy believe, based on what their donors and strategists are telling them, that their path to victory is Trump’s indictments. Trump’s arraignment is all a necessary component in their only possible path to the nomination. That’s why they are not rallying behind Trump, and this is why Pence is trying to throw Trump under the bus. This is also why DeSantis is now saying that the 2020 election was the most honest. All these other candidates are sounding indistinguishable from Democrats.
Desantis is now coming in third in several polls for the nomination, behind Ramaswamy. Brexit leader Nigel Farage recently said that Ramaswamy may indeed be the ideal VP for Trump. Ramaswamy is in his mid-30s, he has a warm personality and a good sense of humor. He’s been successful, and he’s on a warpath against wokeness in the corporate world. He believes in individual responsibility, freedom, and entrepreneurship. What Farage is getting at here is that Ramaswamy recognizes that he has to stand up for Trump amid these insane indictments, which he has thus far done.
DeSantis is falling apart because his comments about the indictments are at points indistinguishable from the asinine nonsense Nancy Pelosi or Chuck Schumer would say. It’s not going to be a cakewalk for Ramaswamy, some of his original J6 comments condemning Trump are coming back to haunt him. Oppo-research is going to find some embarrassing past comments and political positions that he’s going to have to deal with. The very fact that the most successful alternative to Trump is largely successful because he’s aligned himself with Trump rather than undermined him, shows that the Republican party is now thoroughly a Trump party, and the sooner these other candidates learn that, the sooner they may see a surge as well.
