Kamala has seemingly been hiding from interviews and the press ever since becoming the Democrats’ presidential candidate. She has not done any major news interviews or spoken to reporters who have tried to question her. JD Vance has pointed this out and even addressed reporters seemingly hoping to speak to Kamala at an airport where her plane had just landed.

Vance tried to ask her questions and pointed out that she refused to speak to the media. She then walked up to Girl Scouts who were at the landing strip seemingly to avoid the press, which appears to confirm Vance’s speculations.
JD Vance was right; Kamala Harris had no intention of talking to the media who had been patiently waiting on the tarmac. Instead, her campaign brought in the Girl Scouts to serve as human shields, diverting attention away from her avoidance of the press.

Despite Harris’ unusual avoidance of reporters and interviews, Trump was asked why he has not held a campaign event in a week. He quickly pointed out the insanity of this comment in comparison to Kamala’s campaign so far and her lack of media appearances.

The likely reason Kamala is hesitant to be asked questions directly in an unscripted setting is that she is notorious for saying strange things and behaving in unconventional ways.

She has used a ‘black voice’ during some of her recent rallies, which many find offensive or disingenuous.

While Trump and Vance continue to campaign, speak to reporters, give speeches, and speak publicly off script, Kamala seems to be avoiding unscripted interactions. We will see how she responds to Trump’s recent agreement to 3 debates.
