It’s being widely reported that Mark Zuckerberg has officially come clean about the role that Facebook played in censoring public discussion House Judiciary Committee chaired by representative Jim Jordan just released a signed letter sent to them by Zuckerberg.
He admits three things. First, the Biden-Harris Admin “pressured” Facebook to censor Americans. Second, Facebook complied with those demands and censored Americans. Third, Facebook deliberately throttled the Hunter Biden laptop story in order to interfere with the democratic integrity of the 2020 election.
Polling shows that a significant number of people would have changed their vote had they known about the hunter Biden laptop. That deliberate censoring of that perfectly legitimate breaking news story by the New York Post in October 2022 appears to adversely affect the outcome of that election. It’s now being officially admitted by Zuckerberg that Facebook has been censoring the American people at the behest of the Biden Harris administration.
This is as unconstitutional as it can possibly get! The government is strictly and unequivocally prohibited by the constitution from suppressing free speech and the free exchange of information. But that is exactly what the government has been doing through surrogates and by pressuring social media outlets like Facebook. They have been trying to do the same thing to Rumble.
Western governments are adamantly opposed to the freedom of speech and the free exchange of ideas. In a sense, this is not news. We have known this about Zuckerberg for years. He admitted to Joe Rogan that Facebook was completely compliant with the demands issued by the FBI regarding censoring information that was damaging to the establishment.
We have learned recently, thanks to Meranda Devine of the New York Post, that Facebook has been spying on the private messages and data of American users and reporting them to the FBI if they expressed what Facebook called anti-government or anti-authority sentiments according to sources within the Department of Justice. According to the New York Post’s bombshell report, under the FBI collaboration operation, somebody at Facebook red-flagged these supposedly subversive private messages over the past 19 months and transmitted them in redacted form to the domestic terrorism unit at FBI headquarters in Washington, DC.
It looks like the top is being blown off this collusion between Big Tech and Big Government. We now know, thanks to the Twitterfiles, that something happened inside DC on November 8th 2016. It became widely accepted among the unelected bureaucrats who comprise permanent Washington that the consent of the governed could no longer be trusted. This is seen throughout Western European governments as well.
There is a concerted and coordinated effort by our political class to deputize private corporations to do what politicians, being restrained by the constitution and the will of the voters, simply could not politically pull off. This is why, increasingly, we have seen corporate boardrooms deliberately and dogmatically restrain the freedoms of citizens, particularly the freedom of speech and information, to maximize centralized control over the totality of political and economic life.
These bureaucrats see the will of the people as an existential threat to their power and survival. They will do anything to thwart that threatening will. Joel Kotkin of Chapman University profoundly described this as refeudalization. This term refers to the ways in which the structure of our society is increasingly reflecting the kind of caste system that characterized the feudal Middle Ages.
A tremendous amount of power and affluence is concentrated into the hands of very few people who dictate their will upon the masses largely through private entities. Unfortunately for them, what brought down the medieval feudalist system was the Protestant Reformation. The Protestant Reformation was a populist uprising that stormed the system and eventually overturned it.
The Vatican was once the largest landowner in all of Europe. Today, they are officially the smallest sovereign nation on the planet. Just as the last populist uprising completely overturned that original feudalist order, the massive populist uprising that we are currently seeing all over the world is about to do it again!
