Man Wins Woman of the Year Award

Attitude Magazine and Virgin Atlantic just awarded Dylan Mulvaney with a ‘Woman of the Year’ award.

This is just another example of transgender ideology going to the extreme and actually harming other ‘marginalized communities.’ We are seeing a white male receive the ‘Woman of the Year award.’ This is absurd, but people who criticize this happening are usually ridiculed and called ‘noninclusive,’ even though the white male is usually considered the most oppressive demographic who needs no further privileges.

There are approximately 4 billion women in the world who all did not apparently deserve the ‘Woman of the Year’ award in comparison to this white man who ‘has been a woman’ since May 2021. This award is inherently valueless, but the message that a man deserves to be in any way considered ‘the woman of the year’ is alarming. Riley Gaines pointed out the incompatibility of feminism and transgender ideology. She argued that by supporting the delusions that men are trying to speak into existence, we are protecting the feelings of men at all costs and not considering the countless women who believe that this is unacceptable.

Extremely radical individuals who try to support both feminism and transgender ideology call women ‘TERFs’ if they express concerns about allowing men to dominate women’s spaces. It is worth noting that we are not also seeing women dominate men’s sports and awards and advertisements in the same way. Women who transitioned to be ‘men’ are not blowing male athletes out of their sport and crushing many young men’s athletic dreams that they have pursued for years.

In response to this ridiculous announcement, the Babylon Bee jokingly named Mulvaney as the winner of their ‘Man of the Year Award.’

Mulvaney stated in his speech accepting this award that no matter what he does, he will never be accepted as a woman by ‘hateful people’s standards.’ He is, of course, referencing how many people consider men as men instead of women, and no amount of surgeries or emotional outbursts will change these people’s minds.

This is especially ironic considering the recent backlash against men taking over a ‘Women in Tech’ conference in Orlando last week. This event was open to women and nonbinary people. Many men showed up to this event, upsetting many women. People commented on the presence of men in this women’s space as inappropriate- rightly so. However, since the definitions of the terms ‘woman,’ ‘man,’ and ‘nonbinary’ change constantly and are ‘impossible to pinpoint’ for many extremists, there is no rational way that extremists could have a problem with all of these men at this event. They have no problem with men winning in women’s sports and taking over women’s fashion, beauty, and awards.

The dichotomy between feminism and transgender ideology continues to grow. We see instances of outrage constantly as more women are grappling with transgender women taking over their spaces. This goes against everything feminists have fought for, and it seeks to set women even further back. With the inclusion of transgender women and the acceptance of men as women, we are seeing actual womanhood eradicated and real women being erased. Women continue to see their skills, opportunities, spaces, and existence diminished by demented men. More people are realizing the absurdity of the transgender ideology as the extremists that caused it to become prominent continue to become more extreme. Like most progressive ideas, transgender ideology continues to become more radical. As this worldview continues to progress, it is becoming more incoherent and isolating more people.
