In a huge victory for MAGA forces over the weekend, the political right won elections all over the world over the past few days. We will take a look at what happened this past Saturday and what it means for Trump and America First as we enter 2024.
– Louisiana’s Governor’s mansion has flipped to the Republican Party after seven years of Democrat rule.
– The voter turnout indicates significant enthusiasm for Trump and his endorsed candidates.
– The polling suggests that Trump is positioned to perform well in the 2024 elections, with strong momentum shifting towards MAGA forces.
The Louisiana Governor’s mansion has flipped red after seven years of Democrat rule. John Bel Edwards, the Democrat, was seen as a harbinger of Republican frustrations in otherwise dependable red regions. In what many consider to be the first election in the 2024 season, Republican Attorney General Jeff Landry trounced his competition in the crowded field of more than a dozen candidates.
Louisiana governor’s races usually have two elections. The first crowds all of the candidates in ‘a jungle primary’ where candidates from all parties share the same ballot. Usually, no one gets the 50% needed to win the Governor’s mansion in Louisiana, so the candidates with the two highest vote counts meet in a run-off election. As of Saturday night, that run-off will not be necessary. Landry secured over 50% of the vote in an absolute blowout.
Trump gave his full endorsement for Landry, and the turnout was big, suggesting massive enthusiasm for Trump and his endorsed candidates. This blowout victory puts to rest any semblance of doubt over Trump’s capacity to deliver at the ballot box. Just to underscore that, it wasn’t just Landry who flipped a seat. Louisiana now has a new Republican state representative, Vincent Cox. He flipped a state house district that voted for Biden by 8 points, House District 85. He flipped a state house district that was +8 Biden to a 31-point landslide, 62 to 31.
MAGA activist Scott Presler was instrumental in this victory. Scott moves to states like Louisiana and organizes these massive get-out-the-vote campaigns. As you can see, he delivers. The get-out-the-vote campaign is so vital. It is so important for the new working class rank-and-file grassroots of the new GOP. Scott is writing the book on precisely how to do that!
Take a look at these battleground state polls. When RFK Jr is factored into the mix, Trump leads in 5 of the 6 battleground states and he ties the sixth one, Pennsylvania. Trump was NEVER tied with either Hillary or Biden in any poll in Pennsylvania. The tie is suggestive that Trump is going to crush Biden in Pennsylvania, and according to Emerson polling, Trump is beating Biden by 9 points in Pennsylvania. Trump is leading Biden in the RCP aggregate in Pennsylvania.
With the RFK polling, he’s tied with Biden in Pennsylvania, he’s up 5 in Arizona, he’s up 3 in Georgia, up 2 in Michigan, up 3 in North Carolina, and up 8 in Florida. In Wisconsin, Trump is up by 2 which is the state that some pollsters predicted a Biden plus-17. The momentum is shifting in the direction of MAGA forces in many parts of the world!
