-Jair Bolsonaro is not giving up on the fight for election integrity in Brazil
-The Brazilian Military seems ready to support Bolsonaro and utilize the Constitution to rectify the cheating and stealing.
-The next 48 hours are CRITICAL for Brazil. Big things coming
As the constitutional crisis deepens in Brazil after the contentious Presidential election between incumbent Jair Bolsonaro and criminal former President Lula de Silva, the military has stepped in. Brazil could be seeing MAJOR shifts as both sides seek to emerge victorious.
Something appears to be happening in Brazil! There have been a number of reports of military mobilization throughout the nation in preparation of what may indeed be an armed intervention in their current constitutional crisis! We’re going to see precisely what’s going on in Brazil, we’re going to learn what led up to this constitutional crisis, and make sure to stick with me to the very end of this article when we’ll find out what to expect in the next 48 hours! Video of military mobilization throughout the nation of Brazil are becoming more and more frequent of late, and this suggests the military may be ready to act, and act decisively, in the midst of Brazil’s current constitutional crisis.
On October 30th of this year, the ultra-leftist Lula de Silva barely defeated the incumbent nationalist populist president Jair Bolsonaro, winning by just one percentage point! This is after he was touted for months by the legacy media both in Brazil and here in the States to win by upwards of 15 or 20 points! The whole controversy over whether Lula was even allowed to run was completely ignored by the complicit media. In 2017, Lula, who has long had a track record of supporting drug dealers and all kinds of illicit activity in Brazil, was sentenced to 9 years in prison after being convicted in one of the biggest corruption scandals in Brazil’s history, what was called Operation Car Wash! He was, up until that point, a very successful president, he served two terms during a relatively prosperous period in Brazil’s history, so he does remain very popular particularly among Brazil’s poor!
But his corruption caught up with him, and he was sentenced to 7 years in prison! And that of course, opened the door for the rise of Jair Boslonaro, Brazil’s first nationalist populist candidate, hailed as the Trump of the Tropics, who won in a landslide in 2018! However, something rather sinister has happened since then! What we have to understand is that, in Brazil, .it’s not the President that’s been invested with supreme power, as it were, the president actually is rather limited in terms of his power and influence in Brazilian politics. The REAL power resides in Brazil’s Supreme Court. The court itself has 11 justices, and of those 11, 7 were appointed by Lula as well as Dilma Rousseff, who took over after Lula. Only two were appointed by Bolsonaro. The court is, therefore, seen by at least half the nation as a puppet court of Lula! Whatever Lula wants, at least 7 of the 11 judges deliver! And one of them did just that! To the shock of millions, without any explanation, one of the Supreme Court justices overturned Lula’s conviction simply stating that it lacked necessary justification! That in turn freed Lula not merely from jail, but to once again run for president! Which he did, with the full endorsement, the monolithic endorsement of the far-left, woke neo-marxist media, most especially our media here in the States!
However, when election day arrived, the run-off in late October, Lula barely squeaked by, and needless to say, tens of millions of Brazilian patriots didn’t buy it! Millions of Brazilians have since taken to the streets in defiance of the outcome of their Presidential election over the last month, with no sign that they’ll stop until their concerns are addressed! The problem in Brazil is that there’s no equivalent to an election oversight commission, so the people feel like they have NO recourse to challenge perceived election irregularities! And THAT is precisely where their military comes in. There’s a constitutional provision called Article 142 that allows for military intervention in the case of a constitutional crisis, and given that Balsonaro has yet to concede to Lula, and given the shenanigans that their corrupt supreme court has engaged in, tens of millions of Brazilians are calling for the military to intervene! And that’s precisely what we may be seeing!
Here’s the latest from Matt Tyrmand, an analyst of Brazilian politics, on where things stand right now. According to Matt we may be seeing something in the next 48 hours! It’s also being reported that a Bolsonaro ally, General Girao Monteiro, spoke to protestors and Bolsonaro supporters outside an Army headquarters, telling them to make sure to hang their stockings up on the mantelpiece for Santa, who he promises is coming wearing camouflage this Christmas, in a not-so-subtle assurance that the military will indeed resolves this! Obviously this is a developing story and we’ll be keeping a very, very close on things! Lula is supposed to be sworn in on January 1st so we’re just looking at a 10-day window for the military to act, if it chooses to do so!
