ABC News Ratings Crash by 12% After Debate Debacle

ABC News, after hosting the disastrous debate debacle where the entire world saw the liberal media in action, is seeing their ratings crash! The liberal legacy media is imploding!

– ABC News is facing a ratings drop of over 12% after their debate ambush of Trump.

– Voters are more concerned about real issues like the economy, inflation, jobs, and the border, which ABC failed to address in the debate.

– ABC’s declining ratings and credibility signal the beginning of the end for legacy media as hyperconnectivity allows people to bypass traditional news outlets for information.

Things are clearly not going well for ABC News after their ambush of president Trump last week in the embarrassing debate debacle, and Trump still beat the crap out of all three of them. While his polls continue to hold strong, the same can’t be said for ABC News. The ratings for ABC’s World News tonight have fallen by over 12% since the September 10th ambush hosted by ABC News hosts David Muir and Lindsey Davis.

Following the debacle, ABC’s World News tonight, which is hosted by Muir, dropped by an average of a million viewers from 7.6 million to now just 6.7 million. Muir tried to save face from what is an obvious embarrassment for the network. He was basically begging what’s left of his Democrat audience to dismiss the tsunami of criticism he’s getting. David Muir has possibly surpassed Don Lemon as the most self-embarrassing personality on television today.

He claimed that they were asking the questions that were of the highest importance to the American people, which is gaslighting at its most desperate. Even Meghan McCain saw it. She called the questions that these so-called moderators were asking ‘elite Manhattan debate questions.’ The questions that Muir and Davis were asking had nothing to do with real ordinary Americans economically suffering and who can’t pay for groceries. Every single survey consistently finds that voters care about what candidates are gonna do about the economy, inflation, jobs, and the border.

The elites like Muir are more offended and outraged over the violation of politically correct norms, such as Trump engaging in ‘racist and xenophobic’ language. Unfortunately for ABC, 12% of his audience appears to have permanently turned David Muir off. Unfortunately for these hacks at ABC, this really is just the beginning of the end of the legacy media. After the ABC News moderators dismissed Trump’s claims about pets being abused and eaten in Springfield by the migrants, it didn’t take long before this video surfaced of the city manager of Springfield, Ohio, back in March:

Even the city commission member didn’t want to hear it, but that city manager just testified that he’s gotten NUMEROUS reports of residents reporting pretty horrific stuff happening to domesticated animals. This is a perfect example of how our collective hyperconnectivity is able to bypass the legacy media’s monopoly over information dissemination. The growing perception that we are now in the position of fact checking the media is enough to completely blow apart the legacy media’s business model, which historically depends on both their unique capacity to mediate information AND their reliability in that mediation! The days of the legacy media are over. What happened in last week’s debate only proves it!
